Evaluation

The first video i submitted was with the group. we had multiple issues with our tape being wiped of information so we had to re shoot our footage 3 times, so the quality on the third time was weaker than the first because we we running out of time. there were a few continuity issues as a result but apart from these issues, i believe our video was OK considering the problems. the person who's story line it was in our group, was not that helpful . they would not give their opinion and as a result the story line of the group video was a bit confused.

For my individual project i had more time to shoot and edit so i think it is better than the group video. Also it was my storyline i was shooting so i knew what i wanted to happen in each shot. i think the editing was relatively flowing, however, as i had to film it after school hours, a car came and parked in shot during shot so external elements were a problem. i am more pleased with my individual video than the group one.

2nd Stage !

I have now filmed all the scenes in my sketch and imported them into i movie. I have started with the titles and editing the opening door sequence and will continue with this in a lunch time or something.
There have been so many problems and complications with the group video that I don't know if we will have a video to submit as a group. Every time we have filmed the scenes, they have not been properly recorded and when we have got to importing it, our scenes are no where to be seen! I don't know what will happen with that at the moment. We may have to use my sketch for our whole group. I really hope this will not be the case because I have worked hard on it on my own and I am really proud of what i have achieved on my own and I want to see how I do on my own film.

Change Of Plan

Today, Mr Roberts told us that it would be more efficient if we worked in groups, so I am now working with Sarah, Amiee, Ben and Andrew on Amiee's idea. However I will still be producing a video of my own with my idea, I will just have to shoot it out of lessons. This is so I can see what it is like working in a group to produce one video and also have a go at doing it on my own. I think that I will learn more this way. :)
